5:30PM Saturday, May 20th, Wellspring will honor our graduating seniors. This year we have two seniors, Anika Reaves and Towah Neese. Both will be attending Oral Roberts University in the fall. Watch out, world!

Join us Saturday as we hear from Anika and Towah and then as we lay hands on them and bless them. Come ready to write a short note of encouragement in their new Bibles. Can’t wait to hear what God is putting on their hearts! In preparation, Towah has been fasting this week. That’s just crazy to me… Graduation is next week and he’s fasting… These two are amazing. All of our young people just blow me away with their sincere love for Jesus and His Church, and with their zeal for the Kingdom of God. Come on, Gen Zeal!!!

The Lord spoke to me yesterday saying:
“I am presently forming new Kingdom relationships around true hearts and holy zeal, and these new heart-and-zeal alliances will impact generations. Guard your heart, stoke your zeal, and get in the chariot.”

2 Kings 10:15-16 ESV — And when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him. And he greeted him and said to him, “Is your heart true to my heart as mine is to yours?” And Jehonadab answered, “It is.” Jehu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand. And Jehu took him up with him into the chariot. And he said, “Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So he had him ride in his chariot.

In Jeremiah 35, we learn that Jehonadab founded the Rechabites, a tribe forbidden from drinking alcohol or living in houses. Others may have seen them as religious fanatics, but God commended Jehonadab’s people for obeying his instructions and He promised that his lineage would continue forever. Jehu and Jehonadab bonded over their true hearts and holy zeal. Two leaders, imperfect and vastly different, had a shared passion for sanctification and reformation. In their mutual zeal, they completely cleansed the nation of Baal worship, turning its temple into a PUBLIC TOILET.

Anika and Towah (along with our other amazing Wellspring members) have already formed world changing heart-and-zeal relationships, and now as they graduate they’re preparing to move into the next arena of alliances and influences. Our charge to them is guard their hearts, stoke their zeal, and get in the chariot. Get on mission!

As they climb into this present move of God, He is going to show them supernatural victories and reformations. We’re so excited for them. And we’re excited for Wellspring.Live! We are sending out our young leaders full of the Spirit and the Word, and we’re fully planning to participate in the same level of Kingdom advancement!
