This past Saturday Bunni Pounds, president and founder of Christians Engaged, shared her testimony of how God took her from being a young student to being an active participant and leader in the political realm. Now her mission is to enable Christians to pray for their elected officials, vote in every election, and become civically involved and take steps to impact the world. Wellspring has partnered with Christians Engaged because we believe it’s every believers responsibility as Kingdom agents to be involved in local and federal government. This nation is a constitutional republic founded on a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ. We are blessed to have a government in which “we the people” are suppose to be in charge. That could all change over night, if “we the people” don’t stay engaged in prayer, voting, and raising up leaders of integrity.
