I don’t know about your household, but in our house everybody plays a part. From the moment the kids were big enough to reach the sink, they helped do the dishes. The principles of teamwork and ownership are important in sustaining a healthy household. Every part does its part.

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

When we gather on Saturday evenings, our goal is to build the family room of God. This only works when each and every member of the family takes hold of the vision and comes ready to participate. We each have to say, “This is my house!”

A while back when my son Towah was teaching the Wellspring Kids, one of the little girls came up to him and declared, “This is my house!” He was surprised by the force of her conviction, but we should each carry that same confident sentiment.

“This is my house!”

Are you a child of God? If you are, His house is your house. And if we’re all willing to take ownership, the chores are spread out enough that everyone also has plenty of opportunity to recline at Father’s feet and just enjoy His wonderful presence. This is our family room!

Saturday, October 8th, we’re going to break into teams to talk about the different “chores” that have to take place for Wellspring Live. If every person will take a pebble, we can move a mountain. Not that anything we have to do is as cumbersome as a mountain, but I’m sure you get my point. We will break into five basic areas of responsibility: the children’s ministry team, the hospitality and welcome team, the multimedia team, the cleaning team, and the security team. It’s important for each team to be able to sit down together and go through details. Once the teams have had time to meet, we’ll gather back together for communion and worship.

After this coming Saturday, October 8th, we will not meet again until the official launch of Wellspring Live on October 22nd. I am so excited to see what God does every Saturday night. Just in our pre-meetings we’ve seen miraculous healings and a supernatural release of spiritual gifts like we’ve never seen before. And we haven’t even started yet! The geyser of Living Water is about to explode!

This morning while I prayed for our nation, I saw a tsunami of Holy Spirit revival hitting the East Coast, then I saw an earthquake of Holy Spirit revival shaking up the West Coast. And right here in the DFW Metroplex I saw a geyser of Holy Spirit revival erupting forth in transformational power, spraying up and out over the middle surrounding states. These three mighty waves of God spread over the United States, covering our nation. If that doesn’t get you excited, you may want to check your pulse.
