Freedom - Intimidation2.001

The word “intimidation” means to render timid, to put timidity into. It’s a form of control, manipulation or coercion through fear. Intimidation’s power is rooted in the insecurity or inadequacy of the one being intimidated, and it uses perception as leverage in a situation.

Each of us have our false self-views and fears that the enemy will deceptively use as leverage to attempt to intimidate us (put timidity into us). In order to deal with these, the Lord will lead us through seasons of testing padded by grace. God does not want to see us fail, that’s why He provides such grace during the testing. But ultimately the testing is to reveal and correct how we view God and ourselves and to give us an opportunity shift the paradigm. Even if we refuse to change, God doesn’t remove His grace, but we’ll remain in a state of intimidation and that intimidation will restrain us from moving forward in our divine destiny.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 [New Living Translation]

God’s desire is that you and I live in boldness and confident faith, filled with the Spirit of God and leaving no room for fear. Your destiny and the desire of your redeemed heart is just on the other side of intimidation. To hear this past Sunday’s full message, Freedom: Intimidation, CLICK HERE.

The Way to Freedom
Sunday, March 15, 10:30am-12:30pm
On March 15, Jill Nothrop will teach the principles and process of Wellspring’s freedom ministry. Jill and Ben have been ordained by the founders of Beth Shalom Ministries, Monty and Hugh Bromiley, and have ministered freedom to many people inside and outside of Wellspring. Beth Shalom is a ministry of inner healing. Shalom means ‘nothing missing; nothing broken, and the absence of chaos’. Through a specific God-led process that includes deep prayer and spiritual counseling, lives are miraculously changed. This is the perfect time to find out about the freedom ministry that has been embraced by Wellspring and has dramatically touched and transformed every single member’s life. Jill’s lesson will summarize the freedom ministry and prepare us for a full day with Monty Bromiley on March 21. Monty will not be reviewing the basic principles but will be sharing fresh revelation and insight.
