Ladies, you aren’t being left in the cold. Pull your head out of your sweater and get knit with your sisters! It’s that time of year when many of the Wellspring men disappear with their snowboards (and skis for some, but we won’t judge them), so the Wellspring women are taking this opportunity to encourage and minister to one another. Join your spiritual sisters for brunch on Sunday, Feb 9, at 10:30am. Children and youth are welcome, also. Price is $5 per person over 12 years old.
Sorry, men… If you’re not going on the snow trip and you’re not one of the youth or children, you’re not invited to Sunday’s brunch. Put February 2021 on your calendar and plan now to join the Wellspring men for our annual men’s snow retreat. Even if you don’t want to snowboard or ski, you’ll still enjoy the quiet of the mountains and strong fellowship with your spiritual brothers. You need this!
On another note, if you missed the message on Sunday, you can find it on our website. We talked about “The Pattern of Honor.” I knew this was a Spirit-led message when I wrote it, but watching the childish, dishonoring attitude of our government representatives last night during the State of the Union really hammered this message home. We as the church and the family of God must reclaim the pattern of honor in our minds, attitudes, and actions regardless of our circumstances. Listen to the message and let me know what you think.
