I AM PRAYER

In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer.
Psalm 109:4 ESV

The second half of verse 4, “but I give myself to prayer”, is actually only two words in Hebrew: “I prayer” (a pronoun and a noun). It’s kind of like how Tarzan would introduce himself: “Me Tarzan.” Me prayer. I AM PRAYER.

Pray means to intercede or intervene. Lovers are pray-ers. In love you become a living intermediary, a walking talking meeting place between Heaven and earth. We are living portals, bringing the King’s domain and will to earth. WE ARE PRAYERS.

This past weekend we talked about the Lord is calling this generation “Gen Zeal”, the zealous generation. He is restoring His priesthood and He is looking for those who have Kingdom of Heaven zeal in their hearts. Phinehas is our Old Testament model. You can watch the message by clicking HERE.

Then Phinehas stood up and intervened,
And the plague was stopped.
And that was accounted to him for righteousness
To all generations forevermore.
Psalms 106:30-31 NKJV

The word “intervene” here in the original Hebrew meant to intercede, to pray. The first time this word appears in the Bible is Genesis 20 where Abraham prays for another king and that king is healed. Intervention is prayer. We are called to take up the weapons of our warfare, which are no longer natural but are spiritual and have divine power to destroy strongholds, arguments, opinions, thoughts, and disobedience.

STAND UP AND BE PRAYER!

Be the present Kingdom. Continually profess heavenly truth into the world around you. Intervene and intercede. Stand between Heaven and earth, binding the demonic activity and loosing the King’s will. Every step you take, all that you put your hand to, and each and every word that comes out of your mouth is on behalf of the Almighty Creator God. As His Kingdom agent, you bring His Kingdom. Stand up and be prayer!

Every Thursday evening we meet at 7pm at Freedom Place in Rowlett. Each of us come as individual prayers (interceders) and partner with each other and Heaven to open a greater portal into the earth. Come and fulfill your individual design and open the gates of Heaven. Together we will see the earth transformed!
