“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT
As I was speaking during our service this past Saturday evening, I was interrupted by the presence of God in a very tangible way. I felt His glory come upon me and it knocked the wind out of me. I was overcome… I couldn’t speak… I could hardly breathe… My wife said she felt the same thing in that moment as she stood in the back of the auditorium. Two thoughts were going back and forth in my mind, one from the Lord and one from me. My head was saying, “What do I do? What do I do?” The Spirit of the Lord was saying, “I have begun. I have begun.”
Friday night I had a dream that was on repeat throughout the evening. In the dream I was digging through a drawer looking for a watch that my daughter gave me three years ago. I appreciated the gift, but I’ve never been a watch wearing person. I hadn’t touched or seen the watch in years. When I woke up, I immediately went to the drawer, opened it up, and dug around the back. Sure enough… The watch was there. On the back of the watch, Luna had engraved Luke 1:17.
“He will go before the Lord as a forerunner, with the same power and anointing as Elijah the prophet. He will be instrumental in turning the hearts of the fathers in tenderness back to their children and the hearts of the disobedient back to the wisdom of their righteous fathers. And he will prepare a united people who are ready for the Lord’s appearing.”
Luke 1:17 TPT
The watch represents a kairos moment and I knew the Lord was pulling this word out from the drawer for now. But I also noticed that the battery must have died because its hands had stopped at 8:22. In Matthew 8:22 Jesus said let the dead bury the dead. I went into Saturday’s meeting confidently knowing that it was time to completely release the past, step into this NOW GOD MOMENT, and get ready for greater power and anointing. Get the bride ready for the Groom!
I shared a message on pride and glory (click HERE to watch), and I wrapped up by sharing some history of the Third Great Awakening. When I finished talking about what God did then and what He will do now, the Spirit of God hit me like a waterfall. Whoa… I finally managed to say something like, “I think we should worship…” And then I went to the side, got on my knees, and worshipped the Lord. After a time of powerful worship and ministry, Sako (my wife) loudly read, Isaiah 43:18-19.
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT
It has begun. I’ve seen it. The Lord is creating a river and I feel its flow. Do you see it? Have you felt it? Get ready for acceleration and convergence!
Let the incense arise!
