“I AM PRAYER”
Psalm 109:4 in the English Standard version says, “I give myself to prayer.” The original Hebrew actually says, “I am prayer.” Am I willing to shift from prayer as a tool to prayer as an identity? What does it mean for me to be prayer? Am I prayer?
This past Saturday we heard from a couple of our Wellspring prayer warriors, and my hope is that what they shared will challenge you and grow you to embrace prayer as not an option or tool but an important part of who you are, your identity. Prayer is the core of who we are both individually and corporately. It is a major component to our divine design. As Debbie Countryman (Wellspring Prayer Leader) said in her message, just as you are a “Warrior”, so also you are a “Pray-er”. Watch the encouraging messages by clicking on the image above.
This coming Saturday I intend to continue talking about prayer. I believe that prayer and passion go hand in hand. Join us Saturday at 5pm and let’s grow together!
Also, I’d like to encourage you to join us 7pm Wednesdays for our weekly prayer meeting. If you don’t know how to pray, come listen and learn. We meet at Dionne McKenzie’s home at 3221 Brook Glen Drive, Garland, TX 75044. The family that prays together stays together. The church that prays together reigns together!
Pray without ceasing!
