Have you been born again?
In John 3, Jesus was talking to a religious leader named Nicodemus, and He said, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Nicodemus didn’t get it, responding, “What do you mean? How can someone go back in their mother’s womb and be born again?” Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.”
Humans give birth to human children. Holy Spirit gives birth to Kingdom children. Each and every one us who are reading this today were born from a human mother. This in itself is a wonderful miracle, but your first birth has left you incomplete. You were not designed to be merely human born of a human. You were designed by Creator Father God to be His Kingdom child, born of flesh but fully alive in the Spirit. You and I must continue from our first birthday to our greater birthday, the one on which we are born again. And according to Jesus, Kingdom children are “born of water and the Spirit.”
In Acts 16, the apostle Paul was asked, “What must I do to be saved?” He answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” Then everyone in that man’s household was IMMEDIATELY BAPTIZED.
He brought them into his house and set a meal before them, and he and his entire household rejoiced because they all believed in God.
Acts 16:34 [New Living Translation]
On Sunday, May 29th, we’re celebrating fresh starts! Have you believed in Jesus and been water baptized? Have you surrendered your old fleshly life under the water and risen into your new Spirit-filled life? If you have not been born again of water and Spirit, now is the time. Contact me if you’re interested or if you have any questions. This is the time of new beginnings!
We will meet outside for water baptisms, followed by a meal catered by Hamburger Man. Also, we’re going to celebrate our little sister Brianna as she graduates from high school and prepares for Bible school. This is going to be a joyfully miraculous day! Come ready to celebrate with your Kingdom family and with the heavenly host!
We are new creations!

DAILY WORD FOR May 18
You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!
Psalms 138:8 [The Passion Translation]
He keeps every promise He ever made to you. Do you believe that the Lord is faithful? He loves you no matter what and forever. Do you believe in His love for you? He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. Do you believe that He’ll finish what He started in your life?
“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?”
Numbers 23:19 [New Living Translation]
The beginning of faith is believing that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him (Hebrews11:6). This can be summed up in three words: GOD IS GOOD. In His goodness He finished all that was necessary for our redemption from sin and restoration to right relationship through Jesus Christ. All that was and is and will ever be necessary has been finished and fully paid and provided by Jesus. Now that we are completely forgiven and cleansed, we are recipients of His constant and endless love.
Why wouldn’t He keep His promises? He’s not a liar — that’s the devil. He’s not a quitter. Nor is He a tease or fickle. His love and intentions are fully and purely good for you, so just believe that He is good and seek Him. Above all else, seek the Lord God. He’ll finish every good thing that He’s begun in you!
