A New Space to Bless

The Ark of the LORD remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-edom and his entire household. Then King David was told, “The LORD has blessed Obed-edom’s household and everything he has because of the Ark of God.” So David went there and brought the Ark of God from the house of Obed-edom to the City of David with a great celebration. – 2 Samuel 6:11-12 [New Living Translation]

As of this coming Sunday, July 5th, Wellspring will be meeting in a new location. We met for three years in my house, and we’ve been hugely blessed. For the past few months we’ve met in the Nothrop family’s backyard, and they’ve been blessed. Now we’ve been invited to bless a large office space.

A few Sundays back we talked about holy ground and the blessing that is on worship gatherings. As one of our friends heard this message, faith leaped up in his heart and he came to me and said that he wanted his workplace blessed by the favor of God. He wanted to bring Obed-edom’s experience into his offices. He immediately went through the corporate channels of his business and received the thumbs up for hosting worship services on Sundays. How awesome is that?! I know God is going to respond to his faith, and in the process Wellspring is also blessed and provided with a great meeting space (and AC).

God is so incredible! His love is unfailing and His plans are unstoppable. He is faithfully guiding us one step at a time. Remember in the beginning of January that the Lord told Wellspring that this is the year of sacrificial praise. We worship Him and follow Him in complete surrender, giving Him glory in all things. I can’t wait to gather and celebrate our Father God on Sunday! It’s going to be like a house-warming party in the spiritual. As we worship the Lord, this space will become a holy sanctuary, on fire with His goodness, love, and power.

On Sunday, July 5th, we will go back to our former meeting time and start at 10:30am. We won’t have separate children’s ministry, so everyone will be together (like our outside meetings). This first meeting we want to corporately speak blessings over the space, and our faith-filled children will be very welcome to participate.

Time: 10:30am Sunday
Location: 851 International Parkway Suite 120, Richardson, TX, 75081

His love is better than life!
