“The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” – Exodus 14:14 ESV
Silence is a discipline, especially in our world of rapid-fire distractions. It’s amazing how challenging it can be to take a moment to turn everything off and wait on the Lord. Yet this is often exactly what is most necessary in our lives. In this moment of reverential, silent awe comes an awareness of rumblings of unworldly power, movement superdimensional, unimaginable, and inconceivable — no eye has seen nor ear has heard.
Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling. – Zechariah 2:13 ESV
On Sunday come ready to learn about and discuss the pattern of silence.
SPECIAL REMINDER: Prophetic training begins tonight, Wednesday at 7pm. If you’re interested in participating, email Jill Nothrop at thenothrop4@gmail.com. Also, our youth/young adults (we lovingly refer to them as the Wellspring Offspring) are meeting tonight at Sally Salas’ house. Ben Nothrop and I will be leading them. Please let me know if you have questions.
