“Remember what Moses, the servant of the LORD, commanded you: ‘The LORD your God is giving you a place of rest. He has given you this land.’” – Joshua 1:13 NLT

On Sunday Ben Nothrop genuinely shared his journey with God of faith and provision. He humbly made himself vulnerable by sharing some of his personal challenges and the revelation that God gave Him through those challenges. Our problems with provision are directly connected to how we see God and to our understanding of who we are in Him. Take a few minutes this week to listen to his story and allow it to encourage and challenge you in your growing relationship with God.

Ben and Jill Nothrop co-pastor Wellspring Church along with Sako and me. They’ve been a huge encouragement to us and the church, both as leaders, as friends and as our spiritual family. Few people carry the authentic hunger for the heart of God like Ben and Jill do, and this hunger is blazingly evident in their lives.

This coming Sunday we’ll continue talking about the Bride of Christ. Meditate on Proverbs 31 as a prophetic poem about the Bride of Christ, the Church for whom He is returning. How do we come together in unity and fully operate as the virtuous, noble partner of Christ? Be ready to continue that conversation.

Also, the director of Restore Ministry, Carolyn Barry, has invited our ladies to “Sisterhood Night” on Sunday, September 15, 5-7pm, at Rosalind’s Coffee House (107 N 6th St., Garland, TX 75040). “This is a Move” is the theme of this year’s gathering. She invite’s you and your friends to join in rejoicing in all God is doing and the exciting things He is setting before us. There will be singing, dancing, food and friendship. Our own Ella Nothrop will be helping with worship.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

May God fill you completely with joy and peace!
Matt
