Author: Matt Neese

In 1998, I had a radical experience with the love of God through His Son, Jesus. Since that life-changing moment I can't help but serve Jesus. From building and leading Bible school programs to pastoring in a local church, I've been in various vocational ministry roles since 2001. Presently, My wife, Sako, and I are pastoring Wellspring.Live, which we started in our living room in 2017. Our goal is to build spiritual family where people immediately feel like they've found their home with Father God. We believe the throne room of heaven is best represented by a family room. Along with my relationship with God and His Church, my greatest passion and love is for my wife and children. It is my huge pleasure watching them grow in their created destiny as they take hold of all that Jesus Christ suffered, died, and rose from the dead to provide for them.

We make disciples through total … Continue reading July 12, 2023

When people use to ask me about how to parent, I would tell them that it's … Continue reading June 14, 2023

One of the great traps of our modern culture, is the arrogant notion that we have the ability to redefine truth. As the lie of evolution has intermingled its way into every aspect of life and thought, we actually have embraced the idea that we are smarter and better than previous generations; therefore, the definitions … Continue reading June 7, 2023

This summer Wellspring is going to pursue the mind of Christ in answering the question, "What is church?" Is it a building? Is it a worship service? Is it the people in a designated building? Is it just a gathering of people looking for community? Is it a weekend activity for religious people? To some … Continue reading May 31, 2023

Today I had lunch with a fellow pastor and he mentioned praying for a member who was really struggling with an oppressive voice in his head. The voice was continually telling him to give up and to quit, and that he was failing and it was time to throw in the towel. The pastor said … Continue reading May 24, 2023

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like LIVING STONES are being built up as a SPIRITUAL HOUSE, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5 ESV The Lord is … Continue reading May 10, 2023

I AM PRAYER In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer. Psalm 109:4 ESV The second half of verse 4, “but I give myself to prayer”, is actually only two words in Hebrew: “I prayer” (a pronoun and a noun). It’s kind of like how Tarzan would introduce himself: … Continue reading April 19, 2023
