We’re moving into new territory, and there is no going back. Watch the message from Sunday by clicking on the image above. How is God speaking to you? What is He leading you into? What do you have to cast off in order to move into the new? The Kingdom of God advances forcefully. Are you committed to advancing?
On Sunday, February 27th, we’re going to hear from a panel of our leaders. Eight of our Wellspring leaders were at a prophetic conference this past week, and I’ve asked them to share with us what they received from Holy Spirit both personally and for us corporately. I can’t wait to hear from them! After they share, we’ll have worship and then we’ll have a time prophetic ministry. Activate your faith and come ready to move forward and grow together! Remember — you were made for Holy Spirit propulsion and Kingdom provision!
Joshua and Sally Pearson would like to invite parents of teenagers 7th grade through 12th grade to their house (321 Carissa Ct, Mesquite, TX 75150) next Sunday, February 27th, at 3pm. This is for parents of youth —not the youth themselves yet. Sally and Josh would like to communicate their heart for what they want to do with Wellspring youth, and they like to share practical things like dates for summer events and discuss questions about logistics. The first youth meeting will be Wednesday, March 2nd, 6:30pm-9:00pm. If you have questions text or call Sally at 469-569-6992.
Ladies, do you want more of God? More on Monday is February 28th and March 28th. Join your spiritual sisters as they connect, build relationships, love, laugh, and grow closer to God. The meetings take place at 7pm at 7010 Chianti Court, Rowlett, TX 75088. If you have questions text or call Carolyn Barry at 214-755-1127.
As always, if you have any questions about Wellspring or if there is anything that I can do for you, please feel free to contact me.
Let’s build together!

DAILY WORD FOR FEBRUARY 23
And Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He replied, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”
— Mark 5:9 ESV
We are identified by our inhabitant(s). Jesus is the Son of the Most High God. Why did He ask, “What is your name?” Wouldn’t He know who He was dealing with? Throughout the Bible, when God or Jesus asks a question, it’s not because He doesn’t know the answer. His questions are to get our attention and our reflection for our benefit.
The spirits replied that they were a multitude. A legion at that time was usually around 6000 soldiers. Around 6000 wicked and violent spirits had taken up residence in this man. Within one human, they drove him to the edge of self-destruction, tearing off restraints and constantly cutting himself. But when the spirits were transplanted to 2000 pigs, the entire herd was so driven to insanity that they stampeded to their deaths. A single pig couldn’t survive 3 evil spirits (6000 spirits divided by 2000 pigs), yet this man housed 6000.
Jesus didn’t ask the question to show us that we’re suppose to converse with wicked spirits. He asked the question so that we would know that humans were made with massive spiritual occupancy. We were designed to house the Holy Spirit, who in every way is greater than 6000 wicked spirits. No other creature is capable of accommodating the Almighty. Though pig tissues and organs are most compatible with humans for natural transplants, in the spiritual there is no comparison. We share some natural traits, but our spiritual capacity is vastly different.
Are you going to be the glorious temple of the Spirit of God as you were designed to be? Or are you going to be a decrepit ghetto project for the masses of cockroach-like wicked spirits? You and I were made with plenty of room — tremendous capacity for a tremendous Spirit. Who will you invite in? The name on the sign hanging outside is determined by your occupant(s). Whose house are you?
