Ben and Jill Nothrop each met the Lord at young ages and grew up in spirit-filled environments with parents in full time ministry. Ben’s parents pastored a church in Australia, and Jill’s had been in church leadership for many years before her mother founded Crossfire Kids (a ministry to inner city at-risk youth) which continues to be part of their lives today. Ben led multiple mission teams in the Pacific Islands through Youth With A Mission, and led a discipleship training school in Canberra, Australia in 1994, where he met Jill, who also attended. After marrying a year later, they moved to Dallas and were involved in leading the worship ministry of a Vineyard church.

A CONTINUING FAMILY LEGACY OF CHRIST-FOLLOWING LEADERS

After the birth of their first child, they began looking for a church that would not only minister to them, but also to their children. They found Trinity Church where, for 15 years, they ministered to people in their home, in small groups, and through volunteering in children and youth ministry. Fast friends with Matt and Sako, Ben and Jill felt a stirring from God early on to, “Stand with the Neeses.” The two couples co-led multiple home groups, and equipped church members through leadership training.

In 2012, God began to stir in the Nothrops a greater desire to see healing and the prophetic in their own lives, as well as in the lives of others. As a result, they began studying inner healing, and have been trained and mentored through Beth Shalom, an inner healing and freedom ministry. Their desire is for people to find their true identity, to be set free, and made whole.

May the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together- spirit, soul, and body- and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ.  – 1 Thes. 5:23

“NOW IS THE TIME.”

Trinity Church blessed and spiritually fed Ben and Jill and their children, Noah (18) and Ella (14), for over 15 years. The friendships made are priceless, yet it is clear that God has called them into a new season. As the Lord revealed to Matt and Sako that “Now is the time,” Ben and Jill knew God’s early promptings to stand with the Neeses were for this moment.

Together with their son Noah, a creative film maker who fears the Lord, and daughter Ella, a carefree artist who sticks up for others, Ben and Jill have hearts that long to see the Lord in every way He wants to show up. They are a family who listens for the voice of God, eagerly desires any gift He has to give, and pours into people fiercely, showing the love of the Father.
