Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be at ease. May peace be within your walls, security within your palaces.” For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.
Psalms 122:6-9 LEB
When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, first we pray blessings on those who love the city. “May those who love you be at ease.” The word “ease” is shalah. Then we pray peace (shalom) within the city and security (shalvah) in its government buildings. Our prayers are to be proclamations of shalah, shalom, and shalvah.
– Shalah is to be tranquil, secure, successful, happy, prosper, be in safety.
– Shalom is well, favor, friend, great, good health, perfect, whole, complete.
– Shalvah is abundance, peace, prosperity, quietness.
In the name of Yeshua, we decree over those who love Jerusalem tranquility, security, success, happiness, prosperity and safety. We decree over all that falls within Jerusalem, be well, favored, friendly, great, of good health, perfect, whole, and complete. We decree over the government and all of those serving in leadership in Jerusalem abundance, peace, prosperity, and quietness.
Seeking His face!
