The Hated Name that Saves

”And you will be hated by all because of my name.“
Luke 21:17

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among people by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12

We are saved through a name, and we are hated because of that same name. Jesus doesn’t soften the truth or try to make His message more appealing. He doesn’t make the Gospel easy. He says it as it is: “If you join Me, the world will hate you.”

Jesus = Yeshua = Yahweh Saves

Why will the world hate you? Because you choose to be identified with the One the world hates, the Son of God, the Anointed Savior, the Prince of Peace. The spirit of this world is in complete rebellion against the Kingdom of Heaven, so of course it hates the King; and if it hates the King, of course it hates all of the King’s family agents.

Why is antisemitism rising up in mobs all over the world? Because salvation came through the Jews and this world is the enemy of salvation. Historically, we’ve seen this over and over —the enemy’s tactics do not change. The world hatefully and openly goes after the Jews with increasing violence and vigor, and then it goes after the followers of Jesus.

Do not fear, but look in triumph on those who hate you! Stand in the name of the Almighty who is for you. Do not hide or pull back from the hate, but advance with the Truth in God-like Love under the Banner of His Name! Though His name is hated, His name is salvation.

Yahweh is for me; I do not fear. What can mere humans do to me? Yahweh is for me as my helper, and so I will look in triumph on those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust princes. All nations surrounded me. In the name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed.
